Working on a character design I can model for practice in Maya. I’m currently just working out colors and clothing designs.
Exercise 3, falling brick. I can’t figure out how to change the fps in Photoshop, so it’s still kind of slow.
Exercise 2, ball bouncing across screen. It didn’t say anything about decay, but I added it anyway. I don’t know why it’s so slow, though.
I’m going to work through all of the animation exercises here. I’ve done some of them already (like this one!), but it can’t hurt to do them again. Here’s exercise 1, the looped bouncing ball with no decay.
Work in progress. I haven’t been around much due to school. I’ve been doing character concept art and the animatic for a group project, but I don’t feel comfortable posting those until the project is finished. I’ve also been piecing together the set for one of my shorts. Figured a 2.5D short would play on all of my strengths (2D characters, 3D backgrounds) and actually allow me to finish it on time. We’ll see.
